Where can trucks park on the A2 in Poland?
Start with the A2. Its concession section between Świecko and Konin has the clearest public data. The operator, Autostrada Wielkopolska, states that the section has 22 rest and service areas, 11 on each side of the road, and that all of them have parking places and toilets ( operator FAQ , undated, checked November 2026).
For the Nowy Tomyśl - Świecko stretch, the same page lists truck spaces of 54, 41 and 101 in one direction and 111, 4 and 50 in the other. The FAQ does not say whether parking is free or time-limited, so confirm that on arrival. The rest of the Polish A2 is state-managed by GDDKiA, the national roads authority.
Which MOPs on the A4 and S8 take trucks?

What rest can a driver take in the cab?
Under Article 8(8) of Regulation (EC) No 561/2006 , as amended in 2020, a regular weekly rest of 45 hours or more may not be taken in the vehicle. Daily rest and reduced weekly rest away from base may be taken in a suitably equipped stationary vehicle. That means a MOP can serve a daily rest in a suitably equipped cab, but a full weekly rest needs accommodation.
